Labour Colony Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Labour Colony Supervisor who r is responsible for managing and maintaining the labour accommodation facilities at sites. The role ensures proper discipline, hygiene, safety, and smooth functioning of labour colony operations while coordinating with site management and contractors.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day operations and discipline of the labour colony.


• Manage room allotment and maintain labour accommodation records.


• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in rooms, toilets, and common areas.


• Monitor water supply, electricity, and other basic facilities in the colony.


• Report maintenance issues and coordinate with maintenance/site team for resolution.


• Maintain labour movement records (new joiners, exits, shifting, absenteeism)


• Ensure safety and security within the labour colony and restrict unauthorized entry.


• Handle labour grievances, disputes, and escalate major issues to site management.


• Coordinate with contractors, site supervisors, and admin team for labour-related matters.


• Ensure compliance with company rules, labour welfare standards, and support during inspections.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10th or 12th pass, higher education preferred.


• 2–5 years of experience in construction site / labour colony supervision preferred.


• Basic knowledge of labour colony management and facility supervision.


• Good communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to handle labour workforce and maintain discipline.


• Basic record-keeping and reporting skills.


• Problem-solving and conflict resolution ability.


• Basic understanding of safety and hygiene standards.


• Ability to coordinate with contractors, site team, and management.


• Willingness to work at site location and flexible working hours.
