Job Description - Lead Academic Counsellor (Delhi)

Lead – Academic Counsellor (Delhi) 
Work Timings: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
Working Days: Monday – Saturday
Work Mode: 100% Work from Office
Location: Delhi – South Extension 2
Reports to: Team Lead / Sales Manager

About the Role:

As a Career Counsellor at Delhi – South Extension 2, you will play a pivotal role in guiding prospective students through their educational journey. This role involves counseling students on digital marketing programs, providing career advice, and driving enrollments while contributing to revenue targets. You will mentor junior counsellors when required and work with cross -functional teams to uphold high standards across all programs and student interactions.

What You'll Do:


● Student Counseling & Guidance:
○ Counsel students about digital marketing programs and help them select the right course based on their goals.
○ Communicate with students and parents via in -person meetings and calls, addressing queries and guiding them through course options.
○ Provide expert advice on career opportunities and program outcomes.



● Mentorship & Team Collaboration:
○ Mentor junior counsellors to enhance their performance and counseling effectiveness.
○ Support onboarding and training of new team members.
○ Collaborate with peers and management to ensure smooth operations and consistent conversion performance.



● Target Achievement & Reporting:
○ Consistently meet daily, weekly, and monthly enrollment targets.
○ Conduct regular follow -ups with leads and track conversions using CRM tools.
○ Maintain accurate records, reports, and analytics to improve individual and team performance.



● Additional Duties:
○ Handle escalations or complex student queries as required.
○ Participate in promotional and engagement activities for student outreach.
○ Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by management, aligned with the broad scope of the position.


Who You Are:


● Must -Have:
○ 1–8 years of experience in counseling or sales, preferably in the EdTech industry.
○ Excellent written and spoken English.
○ Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills.
○ Proven track record of achieving sales and counseling targets.
○ Proficiency with CRM systems and sales automation tools.



● Should Have:
○ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast -paced environment.
○ Leadership potential and readiness to take on additional responsibilities.



● Nice to Have:
○ Prior experience in EdTech or education counseling.
○ Certifications or knowledge in digital marketing or education counseling.

Expected Deliverables / KPIs:


● Calls: 60–80 connected calls per day
● Revenue Targets: Consistent achievement of weekly enrollment and revenue goals
● Talk Time: 2–3 hours of active talk time daily
● Location Requirement: Candidate must be residing in Delhi
