About the Role

The Deal Operations role is responsible for technical assessment of deal feasibility, coordination of deal documents & drawings with landlords/IPCs and cross departmental diligence and delivery of  deal terms. This POC is responsible for facilitating all actions required for the communication of WeWork India's desired and agreed handover conditions and requirements, both internally to Projects and  externally with the landlord team within their designated region and territory.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Owning the technical assessment of prospective deals by partnering with the Transactions


• Manager to evaluate feasibility, identify risks, and provide inputs that strengthen commercial  negotiations. 


• Coordinate with the product team to generate test fits and assess the technical feasibility of the building. 


• Serve as an SPOC for due diligence items from the Real Estate perspective while liaising with the Projects team 


• Coordinating with the landlord team to collate the necessary technical information and documentation. 


• Coordination with operation team and project team with regards to the formal handover of  the property for fit-outs and coordination with the Landlords for any inspections in the  property before formal handover of the property 


• Proactively identify, assess, escalate, and resolve technical and execution risks that may  impact deal timelines and project delivery. 


• Process driven thinking and ability to create a robust system to deliver on the key  responsibilities 


• Establish and continuously improve standardized processes, governance mechanisms,  trackers, and documentation frameworks to enhance deal execution quality, transparency,  and operational efficiency.

Education and Desired Qualifications

• 4-6 years of relevant work experience in the real estate industry - Real estate, construction, architecture and/or project management 


• Stakeholder management


• Ability to perform independently and escalate deal issues 


• Organized and focused approach to work 


• Forward thinker- planning ahead, problem solver 


• Impeccable and concise communication and presentation skills, verbal and written


• Teamwork, cooperation, and ability to take direction 


• Reliable, focused and detail-oriented 


• Strong time management skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously 


• Excels under pressure; ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment 


• Familiarity with basic real estate/ leasing language for term sheets and leases
