Lead RFP Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

Lead RFP Analyst plays a vital role in engaging with the prospects, customers and partners, preparing proposal documents that accurately describe the value -anchored solutions in a compelling manner. The Lead Proposal Specialist prepares responses to prospect Requests for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI), and the value that the customer would derive from those solutions.  This position plays a critical role in coordinating and managing the process, the content and the deliverables that enable ZeOmega to win new business.

The Lead Proposal Specialist is a specialized sales and project management role where you coordinate the team’s efforts to put together a response to a prospect's request for proposal. To achieve success in this position, you need to understand the importance of accuracy and urgency in preparing a proposal that satisfies a prospect.

This encompasses the ability to fully comprehend basic, intermediate, and complex questions posed in the RFP and provide comprehensive responses. The responses must be U.S. English grammatically correct and of a U.S. business executive -level style and tone.   Additionally, this includes ensuring that our RFP database, Qvidian, is current and comprehensive with archived RFP responses.   This position may also be asked to assist in other general marketing projects, as needed.

PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·          Develop accurate, differentiated, competitive, and comprehensive responses to RFP, RFI, security, and information questions that are 100% U.S. English grammatically correct and at a U.S. business executive -level style

·          Track the status of all proposals and projects for which you have been assigned work and provide update reports to management

·          Attend all daily RFP kick -off and communication meetings

·          Work closely with other departments within the firm, including product management, sales, and client services to create effective responses for RFP’s, RFI’s and RFQ’s

·          Ensure that all RFP responses are accurate, comprehensive, competitively differentiated, current, and comply with the company’s standards of excellence

·          Work with subject matter experts to understand the competitive environment for the proposal opportunity, and assist in developing competitive strategies are related to area of expertise

·          Coordinate, collect and assemble RFP materials and responses into a professional format

·          Manage your sections of the proposal production process ensuring the final proposal product is of high quality, meets all specifications, and delivered to the customer on time

·          Develop business relationships among internal associates to ensure effective coordination of proposal generation

·          Ensure that the RFP database, Qvidian is current and comprehensive with archived RFP responses.

·          Develop solutions leveraging information from Qvidian as a starting point.   Ensure that each response, for each RFP, is customized to that unique RFP.   Intermediate and complex questions will require subject matter expert involvement for technical information that must then be crafted into a comprehensive, customized response.

·          Perform other job -related duties as assigned. 

Pre -requisites:

·          8+ years of experience in an RFP Writer/Coordinator/Manager or Marketing Analyst role or equivalent with a U.S. -based organization. Related U.S. healthcare industry experience preferred.

·          Demonstrated U.S. college -level verbal, written, and editorial command of U.S. English.

·          Ability to develop deep and broad knowledge of Jiva, Jiva HIE, and all supporting point solutions. Previous experience with ZeOmega products and services, including Jiva Population Management Health Software (or similar PHM solution) is strongly preferred.

·          Experience using Qvidian, or comparable Proposal Automation Software, for content management and research.

·          Strong analytical ability
