As a Lead Technical Program Manager in Commercial & Investment Bank, Payments Technology, you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reaching business goals across the firm. Leveraging your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential for developing innovative solutions, while simultaneously effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams. Job responsibilities

Develops and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology projects
Identifies and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing risk management strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes
Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including software development, quality assurance, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals
Utilizes technical fluency to evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendor products for project implementation
Monitors project progress, adjusting plans and schedules as needed, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project or program lifecycle
Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate program planning and risk synthesis (e.g., consolidating inputs into integrated plans, RAID, and executive-ready updates), validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity requirements.
Promotes reuse-first, AI-assisted practices for program governance and reporting, ensuring human review and alignment to delivery standards.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization.
Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support program management workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
Ability to review and validate AI-assisted plans, risks, and recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain and following data handling expectations.
Experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization. Expert level technical program management experience, leading and delivering complex technology projects and programs in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Strong experience preparing and presenting project updates, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership and operating committees. Strong understanding of technical domains such as cloud architecture (AWS), resiliency and high availability patterns, and application development, with proven experience managing projects through the full lifecycle—including influencing decision makers and adapting to evolving business needs.
High Level understanding of AWS Core Services, familiarity with concepts like microservices architecture, load balancing, auto-scaling, and disaster recovery patterns, and defining and tracking SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs.
Proven track record of applying analytical reasoning and advanced problem-solving techniques to decompose business, technical, or operational objectives into actionable tasks and deliverables.
Expert stakeholder management skills, demonstrated by building productive relationships, managing expectations, and driving alignment across cross-functional teams.
Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), with hands-on experience using tools such as JIRA for project tracking and delivery and expert MS Office skills, particularly in Powerpoint and Excel.
High technical fluency with familiarity in current and emerging platforms, software tools, and technologies relevant to large-scale enterprise environments.
Proficiency in creating and delivering impactful presentations to senior leadership and technical teams, translating complex technical concepts into clear business value.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Knowledge of frameworks like the AWS Well-Architected Framework, high level understanding of Stability & Resiliency concepts
Advanced stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to understand diverse perspectives, facilitate productive discussions, and drive consensus among technical and business stakeholders
Certification(s) in Agile, PMP, or related fields
