Legal Consultant Corporate Lawyer

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Legal Consultant – Corporate Lawyer to provide strategic legal advice and support across a wide range of business matters, with a strong focus on corporate law.

The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of legal principles, regulatory frameworks, contract management, compliance, and risk management across both technology and non-technology domains.

The role requires strong legal research, contract drafting, negotiation, compliance, and advisory capabilities, along with the ability to provide practical and business-oriented legal solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis across technology and non-technology sectors.


• Draft, review, negotiate, and structure contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.


• Provide legal and regulatory compliance guidance to ensure adherence to applicable laws.


• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks associated with business transactions and strategic initiatives.


• Provide strategic legal advice aligned with business objectives.


• Support dispute resolution through mediation, arbitration, and other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.


• Provide legal advisory and strategic support with a focus on non-litigation matters.


• Design, build, implement, and manage legal frameworks, policies, and processes.


• Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify potential legal concerns and recommend appropriate solutions.


• Support business teams in evaluating legal implications of new initiatives, partnerships, transactions, and investments.


• Maintain high standards of confidentiality, professional ethics, and legal compliance.

The candidate should ideally have exposure to multiple areas of law, including:

• Corporate Law: Business formation, contracts, mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance


• Tax Law: Regulatory compliance and legal advisory


• Intellectual Property Law: Patents, trademarks, copyrights, licensing


• Real Estate Law: Transactions, leasing, development, and related agreements


• Healthcare Law: Regulatory compliance and risk management


• Information Technology Law: Data privacy, cybersecurity, IT contracts, and technology-related regulations


• Employment Law: Employment agreements, workplace regulations, and compliance


• Environmental Law: Regulatory requirements and compliance


• International Law: Cross-border transactions and business requirements


• Exposure to legal matters related to retail, food & kitchen, and other business sectors will be an advantage.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Full-time 3-year Law degree (LLB) from a recognized/accredited institution.


• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in legal consulting, corporate law, or in-house legal roles.


• Strong expertise in corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.


• Proven experience in handling complex legal matters and providing practical, actionable solutions.


• Strong legal research and analytical capabilities.


• Experience in contract drafting, review, negotiation, and management.


• Knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks.


• Familiarity with data privacy laws and regulatory requirements.


• Proficiency in legal research tools, legal software, and contract/compliance management systems.


• Membership in a recognized Bar Association.
