Linux Admin

• Minimum 7+ years of in-depth expereince of SUSE, Ubuntu, CentOS and RedHat Linux  Administration experience in
  


• small, medium and large scalebusiness enterprises.
  


• SUSE,Ubuntu, CentOS and RedHat Linux installations , configurations and  integration with Active Directory.
  


• Managing Linux filesystem , trouble shooting the issues and resolutions.
  


• Shell/Bash Scripting , Automation & Tagging. Storage Management.
  


• Monitoring and Alert management,  Backup & Restore (HW, OS, DB, Storage monitoring).
  


• System run /Server provisioning and Linux Life Cycle management and Maintenance.
  


• Support and coordination with Application, Database Teams, both internal & external stakeholders.
  


• User adminisration and management on granting the permissions and previleges.
  


• Experience in handling Service requests , Incidents, Change, Problem and capacity management.
  


• Experience in hadling linux migrations and On-Premise to Cloud Migrations.
  


• Support in upgrades projects. Support the Performance tuning of the system.
  


• Prepare for new product related releases and assists with new initiatives and upgrades.
  


• Work with Application Teams to develop/update SOP for provisioning and decommissioning servers.
  


• Work with Application Teams to assist in governance of Operations SOP.
  


• Installation, set up, configuration and maintenance of common software packages, kernal upgrade and
  


• patch management for all Linux flavour servers.
  


• Create tools to help teams make the most out of the available infrastructure.
  


• Hands on expereince in DNS, FTP, SAMBA, NFS, and EFS (Cloud) configurations .
  


• Expereince in sheduling the cron jobs, and configuring the webservers like Apache, tomcat.
  

Requirements

• AWS/Azure/GCP:
  


• Should have experience in one of the above cloud platform administration.
  


• Good to have hands on in AWS cloud.
  


• Hands on experience in EC2 Instances Launching, monitoring, checking the instance state, 2/2 checks,
  


• and terminating the instances.
  


• Experience in taking AMI & Snapshot backup.
  


• Creating EBS volumes, EFS, and mounting the volumes to Linux instances.
  


• Configuring Web servers such as Apache, tomcat, and  Nginx
  


• Updating yum  packages , Route53 configuration, hands on experience on Route53 policies.
  


• Experience in handling ELB, ALB ad NLBs. SSH, Telnet
  


• Hands on experience in Auto Scaling group, AWS beanstalk.
  


• Hands on experience in AWS Cloud-front, SSL certificate generation and upgrade.
  


• Hands on experience in AWS Cloud-watch and AWS Cloud trial.
  


• Experience in handling S3 buckets, policies, able to run from the back up to Instances, and S3 lifecycle management.
  


• Real time experience in handling RDS instances, taking backups.
  


• Experience in SQS, SNS and IAM User administration and management, MFA.
  


• Working experience in handling HTTP, HTTPS, Security Groups, VPCs, Subnets, IGW, NAT Gateway.
  


• Experience in building the cloud formation templates in JSON/YAML.
  


• Experience in lambda function to run schedule jobs to manage the AWS resources automatically.
  


• Experience in AWS inspector for cloud security.
  


• Hands on explainer in Athena glue in AWS
  


• Experience in creating SES in sandbox and production mode.
  


• Working knowledge on AWS Cloud Enduer and workspace VDI
  Preferable to have :
  


• Working knowledge /Expereince with Terrafrom for provisioning Infra as a Code
  


• and Ansible configuration management tool.
  


• Good understanidng in CI/CD set up for automating the build and depoly jobs.
