Telugu Teacher (IB PYP) – Aerocity, Hyderabad

Summary

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Telugu language lessons aligned with the IB PYP curriculum and inquiry-based learning methodologies.
  
• Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation, oral communication, and reading proficiency in Telugu.
  
• Develop and implement diverse teaching resources, including stories, poems, and cultural activities, to enhance student engagement and language acquisition.
  
• Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support individual learning goals.
  
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Telugu language learning across the broader PYP transdisciplinary themes.
  
• Organize and lead cultural events and language workshops that celebrate Telugu traditions and promote community involvement.
  
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's linguistic development.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Telugu Literature, Education, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  
• Valid teaching certification and prior experience in teaching Telugu at the primary level, preferably within an IB PYP setting.
  
• Deep understanding of the IB PYP framework and its application to language instruction.
  
• Proven ability to create dynamic lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  
• Strong command of the Telugu language, both spoken and written, with excellent communication skills.
  
• Experience in using digital tools and technology to enhance language learning outcomes.
