Job Title: LRS Cartago Consultant – SAP S/4HANA Output Management

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced LRS Cartago Consultant to provide production support, maintenance, enhancement, and development services for the LRS Cartago Live Suite used in SAP S/4HANA output management environments. This role will support the design, modification, and ongoing maintenance of business -critical forms and documents such as Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, invoices, delivery documents, and related customer/vendor communications. The ideal candidate will bring hands -on expertise in Cartago Workspace, Cartago Designer, and DocEngine, along with strong knowledge of LRS output routing, SAP document integration, and modern cloud -based output architectures. This role also requires strong incident management discipline to support document delivery SLAs in an AMS environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day -to -day support, maintenance, and enhancement for the LRS Cartago Live Suite supporting SAP S/4HANA output processes.
- Design, update, and maintain dynamic document templates using Cartago Designer, including layouts, reusable components, conditional logic, branding, and business rules.
- Use Cartago Workspace and DocEngine to manage template lifecycle, output generation, and execution of document workflows.
- Support SAP S/4HANA business forms such as Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, invoices, order confirmations, and delivery -related documents.
- Integrate Cartago and LRS solutions with enterprise systems including ERP and CRM platforms, with emphasis on mapping SAP -native output formats such as GOF/OTF into printer -ready or digital delivery streams.
- Support and troubleshoot LRS VPSX / Output Manager environments for print stream routing, queue management, TCP/IP printing, and device -independent data streaming.
- Develop and support web -based output capabilities using HTML5, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs for document rendering, customization, and downstream integrations.
- Troubleshoot issues related to form layout, data mapping, print routing, output failures, rendering logic, and document delivery across print and digital channels.
- Support deployments in virtualized and cloud environments, including SAP RISE, SAP BTP, and Public Cloud architectures, with reduced dependency on traditional on -premise Windows print servers.
- Work closely with SAP functional teams, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate output, stable operations, and timely resolution of incidents.
- Support testing, migration, release validation, and production cutover activities for template and output management changes.
- Maintain technical documentation, support procedures, template inventories, and knowledge transfer materials.
Required Qualifications / Core Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in output management, document composition, enterprise forms, or print/output services.
- Strong hands -on expertise with LRS Cartago Live Suite, including:
- Experience designing, modifying, and maintaining forms used in SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Experience supporting business documents such as Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, invoices, and related SAP output forms.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs for web -based document rendering and customization.
- Experience with LRS VPSX and/or LRS Output Manager for print routing, queue management, TCP/IP printing, and enterprise output operations.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integrations, including mapping SAP document formats such as GOF/OTF into output -ready print or digital streams.
- Experience supporting cloud and virtualized output architectures, including SAP RISE, SAP BTP, Public Cloud, or similar modern environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across template logic, data binding, print routing, rendering, and downstream document delivery.
- Experience using ITSM / incident management tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
- Familiarity with ITIL -based support processes and adherence to defined SLAs for incident response and resolution.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across AMS, SAP, infrastructure, and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in AMS / managed services environments with structured support and enhancement processes.
- Familiarity with multi -channel document delivery across print, PDF, email, archive, and digital outputs.
- Experience modernizing output architectures by reducing dependence on legacy on -prem print server models.
- Exposure to regulated or high -volume enterprise environments with strict operational controls and release governance.
- Experience supporting hybrid SAP landscapes across on -premise and cloud platforms.
