Analysis of high CPU-consuming batch jobs and online transactions
Optimization of COBOL, DB2, JCL, CICS, and system workloads to reduce mainframe costs.
8+ years of experience as a senior software engineer, tech lead in the IBM Z platform
Hands on experience on Mainframe optimization techniques, performance tuning, modernization and automation.
Hands on extensive experience in REXX, COBOL, JCL, IMS and DB2.
Well versed in DevSecOps best practices and experience with cloud technologies.
Code Review, Solutioning, Mentoring.
Experience in agile software development and continuous improvement concepts.
Have knowledge on Python, SMF, DCOLLECT.
Strong team management and organization skills; ability to lead, motivate and direct global workgroup.
Comfortable providing timely, constructive performance feedback to technical and non-technical associates.
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work up and down the organization, able to influence others to achieve results

DevOps on Z, Mainframe Modernization and Transformation.
Experience in AI tools e.g. Copilot Analysis, Github
Ability to work in globally distributed teams and develop multi-level relationships.
Exposure to diverse portfolio of applications is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ownership and initiative.
