• To plan, coordinate, monitor in executing the product / project as per the scope of the project with the objective of achieving on time & successful execution of project / product


• Coordinate with production, planning, quality and all related stake holders Co-ordination with customer for testing of pumps/systems


• For special project co-ordination with vendor and various Defence establishment for inspection and documentation.


• For special projects understand manufacturing/testing /commissioning process of various equipment/ systems


• Knowledge of MS Project, MS word, Excel, Power point, SAP & ERP systems etc.


• Knowledge of project management skill

• Empathy and ability to connect with customer, vendor of different level.

Summary /Purpose of the role 

• Product / project execution plays a vital role in successfully executing the projects related to M & D sector. This role is formalized to take care of various aspect of execution of execution of sector.

• Plan, coordinate, monitor in executing the product / project as per the scope of the project with the objective of achieving on time execution of project / product

Key Responsibilities

Project / Product/Order Execution

• Plan execution & execute the strategy as per plan for meeting the sector’s sales and recovery target.


• Conduct periodic forecasting exercise and ensure the sales are in line with forecast.


• Coordinate with production, planning, quality and all related stake holders to meet customer requirement and deliver within time line.


• Plan and Develop the Project Idea, preparation of project schedule and arrange KOM with client for start the order.


• Monitor Project progress and Set Deadlines as per schedule. Allocate the activities to shareholder and coordinate. Manage Money as per cost sheet.


• Submission of Monthly Progress report. Escalation for documentation and payment.


• In time communication with all stake holders / prompt responses to customer and stake holders.


• Coordination with contractors, vendors, consultants.


• Work with contractors, consultants & vendors to bridge gap between customer expectations & Project/order requirement.


• Work with the help ERP system (specifically SD module of SAP, Indent, dolphin and purchase portal)


• Execution of Defence on board projects and various aspect of quality hold / check points


• Submission of ABG/PBG/SDBG/FIMBG and other commercial formats.


• Drawing/data sheet/QAP & commercial formats collection from vendors/internal stake holders and submission to customers for approval on their portals.


• Drawing uploading in indent system as well as assigning task to internal stake holder in system.


• Checking of BOM in system as per customer PO


• Checking commercial terms like payment terms, cancellation clauses, repeat order clauses & force Majeure clauses in the PO.


• Communication with customer for technical queries and compliances against order drawings, data sheet, QAP etc.


• Review meetings with internal and external stake holders.


• Coordination for testing of final product with factory and customers.


• Collection of MDCC/LC from customer and submission of invoices. Also collect the invoiced amount from customer.


• Collection of payment, BG’s and work completion certificate.


• Help to Marketing team for future orders considering past experience and hurdles.
