Job Overview
The Narrative vertical is responsible for shaping how JioAds is positioned to advertisers, agencies, and the broader market. This role will drive the development of compelling, insight-led narratives that articulate the value of JioAds' advertising solutions, products, and ecosystem capabilities. The individual will work closely with Sales, Product, Research, Marketing, and Strategy teams to translate platform strengths, consumer insights, and market trends into persuasive stories that influence advertiser perception, unlock revenue opportunities, and strengthen JioAds' competitive positioning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Narrative Development
Develop and own category-specific, platform-specific, and solution-led narratives for JioAds' advertising offerings.
Build compelling advertiser-facing stories that demonstrate the effectiveness of JioAds in driving brand awareness, consideration, engagement, and business outcomes.
Create differentiated narratives that position JioAds against competing advertising ecosystems, including digital platforms, social media networks, retail media, and OTT players.
Translate market trends, consumer behavior insights, and industry developments into actionable sales narratives.
2. Go-To-Market Support
Partner with Sales and Business teams to create high-impact pitch decks, proposals, and client engagement materials.
Support key advertiser conversations by crafting customized narratives aligned to client objectives and category challenges.
Develop frameworks and messaging for new product launches, strategic initiatives, and marquee properties.
3. Insights & Thought Leadership
Leverage first-party data, audience insights, research studies, and industry reports to build evidence-based narratives.
Identify emerging advertising trends and develop thought leadership content to strengthen JioAds' market positioning.
Create narratives around measurement, effectiveness, innovation, and audience engagement to drive advertiser confidence
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Product, Research, Marketing, Analytics, Design, and Revenue teams to ensure consistency in messaging and positioning.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to simplify complex products and capabilities into compelling advertiser propositions.
Partner with Creative and Design teams to bring narratives to life through impactful visual storytelling.
Preferred Education & Experience
MBA from a premier institute preferred.
5-7 years of experience in Strategy Consulting, GTM Strategy, Ad Sales Strategy, Marketing Strategy, Brand Strategy, or Media Planning.
Experience in Digital Advertising, Media, OTT, Technology Platforms, or Advertising Sales Ecosystems preferred.
Candidates from management consulting firms, media strategy teams, advertising platforms, or high-growth digital businesses will be preferred.
