Job Description - Manager - PCM

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

We are looking for a experienced Tool Costing Engineer responsible for estimating and preparing accurate quotation for plastic injection mould, rubber/seals, glass, Thermoset, lighting(lamps) moulds.

The candidate will work closely with SSU, Tooling cell(CDMM), Design team to develop competitive and technically sound tooling cost.

Prepare tooling cost based on Mould specifications sheet, TSO content, 3D models in certain cases. Analyse tool complexity, tool steel requirements, hot/cold runner and other tooling requirements

Support tooling cost reduction/Value engineering initiative without compromising on the quality and tool functionality.

Set MHR for Tool Room machines, Maintain/update steel & BOP lists time to time.

Develop STD estimation cost models for tools & generate data base.

Support business requirements to adhere time line requirements for the estimations.
