Job Purpose

Responsible for operations and maintenance of the STP, DRA and Roaming elements deployed in the circle along with Coordination for regular configuration change and opening new roaming tie-ups   . Implementing new configuration changes, managing system uptime, perform regular O&M activities.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

• Ensure 100% System Uptime of STP and Roaming elements


• Ensure STP/DRA/Roaming elements upgrades and expansion.


• Responsible for alarm clearance in the nodes in coordination with respective functions


• Coordinate and ensure Link/Bandwidth augmentation.


• Coordinate and Execute Signaling related routing changes and optimization


• Traffic report analysis and process initiatives to improve performance


• Hardware support for STP/SPS nodes and roaming elements


• Preventive maintenance and Regular backups


• Coordination with Vendors / Central team /Marketing/ NOC/Other dependent circles


• Resolve Complaints with in TAT


• Support for new node integration


• Coordinate and open new roaming Tie-ups and maintain GSMA portal.


• Perform routine audit of the database and regularize.


• Time to time support for Regular Roaming Testing (In roaming and out roaming)


• Timely support in performing testing with SIGOS tools


• Coordination for roaming specific changes in Core nodes Including CS core/HLR/HSS and PACO nodes


• Perform AT and prepare reports

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

• In-depth understanding and hands on working experience on various core nodes like STP/DRA/Roaming platforms


• Clear understanding of all types of call signaling flows and Roaming configurations


• Experience in Roaming configurations and SCCP routings


• Basic understanding of Cloud and IP infra and PACO


• Trace analysis and troubleshooting skills including knowledge of various protocols like ISUP, SCCP, MAP, BICC, SIP, and Diameter.


• Should be Good team player and should have good communication skills.


• Analytical, Reasoning and logical thinking skills


• Positive Attitude towards problem solving, learning new things, adopt changes

Must have technical / professional qualifications

BE/B Tech (Electronics and Telecommunications) with 4-6 years of relevant experience.
