Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Manager/Sr. Manager / Assistant Director – Business Development (EPR & IPR) to drive the expansion of our Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) business. The role involves acquiring and managing enterprise clients, building strategic partnerships with Producers, Importers, Brand Owners (PIBOs), OEMs, and corporate customers, while driving revenue growth through sustainability and compliance solutions.

The ideal candidate should possess strong enterprise sales capabilities, deep knowledge of EPR regulations, and the ability to build long-term business relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business development initiatives across EPR, IPR, sustainability, recycling, and environmental compliance solutions.


• Acquire and manage strategic relationships with Producers, Importers, Brand Owners (PIBOs), OEMs, and enterprise customers.


• Drive sales of EPR compliance solutions, sustainability consulting, regulatory advisory, and related services.


• Develop and execute business strategies to achieve annual revenue and business growth targets.


• Build and strengthen relationships with regulatory authorities, industry bodies, and ecosystem partners.


• Guide customers on EPR compliance requirements and evolving environmental regulations.


• Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Finance, Legal, and Commercial teams for seamless project execution.


• Monitor market trends, policy changes, regulatory updates, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.


• Lead commercial negotiations, proposal management, contract closures, and long-term strategic partnerships.


• Mentor and guide the Business Development team while ensuring high customer satisfaction and operational excellence.


• Represent the organization at industry events, sustainability forums, conferences, and regulatory engagements.

Must-Have Requirements

• 7-18 years of experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, Sustainability Consulting, Environmental Services, Waste Management, or EPR.


• Strong experience in selling EPR compliance, environmental solutions, recycling services, or regulatory consulting.


• Strong understanding of Indian EPR regulations and environmental compliance frameworks.


• Proven track record of acquiring and managing large enterprise customers.


• Experience handling high-value commercial negotiations and long-term strategic accounts.


• Strong business development, relationship management, and revenue generation skills.


• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication abilities.

Good to Have

• MBA or equivalent management qualification.


• Experience working with Producers, Importers, Brand Owners (PIBOs), OEMs, or manufacturing organizations.


• Exposure to sustainability consulting, ESG, circular economy, or environmental compliance businesses.


• Strong network within the sustainability, recycling, or environmental ecosystem.


• Experience leading high-performing sales or business development teams.

• Comfortable working from the Noida office (5 days a week).


• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently drive strategic business initiatives.


• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management skills.


• Ability to engage with CXOs, senior leadership, regulatory bodies, and enterprise stakeholders.


• Demonstrated success in achieving aggressive revenue and business growth targets.


• Immediate to 60-day notice period candidates preferred.
