Manual Tester

Position Overview:

We are seeking a diligent and detail -oriented Manual Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate should have basic trading knowledge, be proficient in both frontend and backend testing, and possess a good understanding of JavaScript.

Responsibilities:

Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
Perform regression testing, functional testing, and usability testing.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on software quality.
Participate in requirement analysis and design discussions to define the scope of testing.
Maintain and update testing documentation and reports.
Ensure that the software meets quality standards and user expectations.
Communicate testing status, defect reports, and resolutions with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
Develop quality assurance strategies and organize phased testing.
Conduct integration testing using dummy programs to simulate data communication and validate system performance.
Perform exploratory testing to evaluate software functionality and identify defects on the fly.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Manual Tester or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with regression testing, functional testing, and usability testing.
Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Notion).
Basic knowledge of trading and Futures & Options (F&O).
Proficiency in both frontend and backend testing.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to new technologies.
Knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
