Mechanical Design

• Design & Modeling: Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings for components and assemblies, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  


• Prototyping & Testing:
  
  
   Develop, build, and test prototypes to validate design functionality and performance.
  
  




Simulation & Analysis: Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to validate structural and thermal integrity.



Documentation: Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), technical specifications, and design documentation.



Collaboration: Work with manufacturing teams to optimize designs for production (DFM), as well as with sourcing and quality teams.



Problem Solving: Troubleshoot issues during the product development lifecycle and provide engineering solutions. 

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  


• Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of SolidWorks software 
  


• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of mechanics, materials, manufacturing processes (injection molding, machining, sheet metal), and GD&T.
  


• Analytical Skills: Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities.
  


• Communication: Ability to work in cross-functional teams and present technical data to stakeholders
