of outcomes end -to -end.
Key Responsibilities
Full Stack Development
â Build scalable, production -grade applications using Next.js, React, Node.js, and Nest.js.
â Design backend systems, APIs, and distributed services with scalability and
maintainability in mind.
â Contribute across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and adjacent systems as needed.
â Work comfortably across Python and Go for supporting services, automation, or AI
workflows.
AI -Native Engineering
â Build custom AI agent workflows using tools such as Codex, Claude Code, or equivalent
platforms.
â Design asynchronous AI -assisted workflows that can operate independently with
minimal supervision.
â Treat AI systems as execution accelerators while retaining engineering judgment and
architectural ownership.
â Continuously evaluate and improve developer productivity using AI tooling and
automation.
Engineering Quality & Testing
â Write comprehensive automated tests covering edge cases, failure modes, and negative
scenarios.
â Use mutation testing tools such as Stryker (or equivalent) to validate test quality beyond
coverage metrics.
â Design systems with resilience, observability, and production reliability in mind.
â Document technical trade -offs and implementation approaches before building
non -trivial systems.
Production Ownership
â Build systems that are scalable, observable, and maintainable in production.
â Design for operational reliability, failure recovery, and long -term maintainability.
â Participate in debugging, incident resolution, and production support when needed.
â Maintain strong engineering hygiene across code quality, PR reviews, documentation,
and delivery processes.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
â Communicate technical concepts clearly to founders, PMs, and non -technical
stakeholders.
â Write concise, actionable documentation and technical recommendations.
â Recommend better technical approaches when appropriate, even if they differ from the
original request.
â Push back respectfully on poor technical decisions with clear written reasoning.
â Operate independently under pressure while maintaining sound engineering judgment.
â Earn trust through clarity, reliability, and delivery consistency.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
â Strong expertise in React -based frameworks, especially Next.js .
â Expert -level Node.js experience with Nest.js as the preferred backend framework.
â Strong understanding of scalable frontend and backend architecture.
â Comfortable working with Python and Go in supporting or adjacent systems.
â Strong API design, database design, and system design fundamentals.
â Experience building and maintaining production -grade applications.
AI & Workflow Automation
â Hands -on experience working with AI coding assistants, agents, or workflow automation
tools.
â Ability to build custom AI -powered engineering workflows and productivity systems.
â Strong understanding of where AI improves execution versus where engineering
judgment is required.
Testing & Engineering Discipline
â Strong automated testing practices including edge -case and failure -mode testing.
â Familiarity with mutation testing tools such as Stryker or equivalent.
â Experience maintaining high -quality engineering standards in fast -moving
environments.
Communication & Ownership
â Strong written communication and documentation skills.
â Comfortable working independently and making engineering decisions under pressure.
â Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non -technical stakeholders.
