Mid/Senior FX Artist

• Design, create, and implement high -quality photo -real effects such as water, fire, smoke, explosions, clouds, debris, magical effects, etc.
  

• Develop efficient methods, tools, and workflows for FX creation.
  

• Understand and work effectively within the studio/show structure and pipeline.
  

• Collaborate with TDs and the Pipeline team to improve FX processes.
  

• Integrate FX elements into scenes with proper lighting and shading.
  

• Document newly developed techniques and technologies.
  

• Report regularly to the CG Supervisor regarding creative approvals, technical issues, and administrative updates.
  

• Follow the creative direction set by production, as communicated by the CG Supervisor and VFX Supervisor.
  

• Stay updated with the latest technologies, tools, and workflows in the industry.
  

• Mentor and guide junior artists.
  

Requirements

• Adaptable to changes in direction during production and capable of working under tight deadlines.
  

• Strong technical knowledge with effective problem -solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  

• Ability to deliver high -quality work on time and within budget.
  

• Strong understanding of rendering and shading techniques and workflows.
  

• Extensive experience with breakout layers for compositing and the ability to slap -comp FX passes.
  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  

• Positive and professional attitude.
  

• Highly organized and detail -oriented.
  

• Prior experience mentoring junior artists.
  

• Strong problem -solving skills with a solution -driven approach.
  

• Exceptional attention to detail and consistency in follow -through.
  

• Experience working in a fast -paced production environment.
  

• Must present a strong, comprehensive reel demonstrating photo -real FX capabilities as required.
