Role - To provide academic and functional leadership to the academic team of specified grade levels of IB Middle Year Programme (MYP – Grade VI to X) segment - by planning, communicating, reviewing and steering the activities of the segment.

Responsibilities -

Responsible and accountable to lead the practice of IB pedagogy in the IB MYP segment.

Responsible to provide researched inputs to HM in drafting of annual plan for the MYP segment of the school.

Responsible and accountable to monitor and supervise daily activities in the IB MYP segment.

Responsible to monitor certain key components of the MYP.

Responsible and accountable to review progress of the academic plan of the segment (i) vertically (grade wise). (ii) Horizontally (Subject wise) and (iii) as a complete segment.

Responsible to review Quality of conduct of class be teachers and provide early feedback to teachers. Monitors that the teachers are following with rigor, the correct classroom methods with necessary skills and involvement.
