Operations Manager

• Leading a team of 25 -30 highly skilled team members ranging from L1 Executives & L2 to Leads.
  
• Managing Business IT Operations for the US Clients.
  
• Managing DBA operational activities spread across 24x7 environments.
  
• Strong knowledge in Database Administration.
  
• Hands -on experience in MS SQL server.
  
• Ability to multi -task and context -switch effectively between different activities and teams.
  
• Oversees operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for opportunities for improvement or revision.
  
• Design career development plans for team members that help them discover and achieve their career goals.
  
• Drive programs and projects focused on implementing, managing, and evolving core operational competencies involving vendor management, service and process management, quality management, data reporting and analytics, workflow automation etc.
  
• Oversee the health of the team’s operational services and processes.
  
• Manage strategic vendor roadmap and vendor program deliverables in alignment with the team’s service goals.
  
• Work cross -functionally and with process and data specialists on analyzing operational workflows, and drive improvements for user experience, efficiency, and quality.
  
• Strong knowledge in Database Administration.
  
• Hands -on experience in MS SQL server.
  
• Support databases for production and development.
  
• Experience with Multi terabytes size databases.
  
• Experience with identifying bottlenecks and fixing them.
  
• Strong knowledge of HADR configuration.
  
• Hands -on experience with Always On.
  
• Hands -on experience with replication.
  
• Ability to multi -task and context -switch effectively between different activities and teams.
  
• Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
  
• Ability to organize and plan work independently.
  
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
