Summary

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough eye examinations and vision assessments utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment.
  
• Perform precise refraction and retinoscopy procedures to determine accurate prescription needs.
  
• Operate specialized instruments including autorefractometers, slit lamps, applanation tonometers, fundus cameras, A-scans, and keratometers.
  
• Execute high-velocity perimetry (HVF) and RT tests to evaluate visual field integrity and ocular function.
  
• Provide expert patient counseling regarding eye health, corrective options, and post-treatment care.
  
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records for all patient interactions and test results.
  
• Assist in the interpretation of diagnostic data to support treatment recommendations.
  

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 0-1 year of professional experience in the Health Care sector.
  
• Demonstrate proficiency in core optometric skills including vision testing, refraction, and retinoscopy.
  
• Show hands-on capability with key equipment such as the autorefractometer, slit lamp, applanation tonometer, and fundus camera.
  
• Be skilled in performing A-Scan, keratometry, and HVF assessments.
  
• Exhibit strong communication abilities to effectively counsel patients and explain medical findings.
  
• Hold relevant certifications or qualifications in optometry as per industry standards.
  
• Display a commitment to patient care and adherence to clinical protocols.
