Oracle RMCS Consultant / Oracle Revenue Management Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud Revenue Management Cloud Service (RMCS) Functional Consultant to support the design, implementation, and optimization of revenue recognition processes. The consultant will translate approved business and accounting requirements into Oracle Fusion RMCS configurations, integrations, reports, controls, and operating procedures.

The role requires strong knowledge of revenue management processes under ASC 606 and IFRS 15, along with hands-on experience configuring revenue contracts, performance obligations, standalone selling prices, revenue schedules, and accounting distributions.

7–10+ years of overall Oracle experience, with significant hands-on experience in Oracle RMCS/Revenue Management and related Oracle Cloud Financial modules.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (RMCS) Consultant to design, implement, configure, and support Oracle RMCS solutions. The candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to understand revenue management requirements and deliver scalable solutions aligned with business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and configure Oracle RMCS modules based on business requirements.


• Gather and analyze requirements related to revenue recognition, billing, invoicing, and accounting.


• Configure revenue contracts, performance obligations, allocation rules, and revenue recognition rules.


• Work with Oracle Financials (GL, AR), Order Management, and other upstream/downstream systems.


• Design and support integrations between RMCS and external applications.


• Develop and support interfaces, data conversions, and reconciliation processes.


• Troubleshoot functional and technical issues and provide root-cause analysis.


• Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production validation.


• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test cases, and user documentation.


• Collaborate with finance, accounting, business, and technical teams to ensure accurate revenue accounting.


• Support month-end and year-end close activities related to revenue recognition.


• Provide production support and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs.


• Participate in enhancement and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with Oracle RMCS / Oracle Revenue Management Cloud Service.


• Good understanding of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition principles.


• Strong knowledge of revenue contracts, performance obligations, SSP allocation, and revenue recognition logic.


• Experience with Oracle Fusion Financials, particularly General Ledger (GL) and Accounts Receivable (AR).


• Understanding of end-to-end order-to-cash and quote-to-cash business processes.


• Experience designing and implementing integrations using APIs, REST/SOAP services, and data interfaces.


• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting.


• Experience with end-to-end testing, defect management, and production support.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Oracle RMCS implementation or upgrade projects.


• Experience supporting large-scale Oracle Cloud (Fusion) implementations.


• Familiarity with OTBI, BI Publisher, FBDI, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).


• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.


• Oracle RMCS certification (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional).
