Role Overview: We are looking for a seasoned
Functional Consultant specializing in Oracle Sales & Operations Planning
(S&OP) and Demand Management to partner with business stakeholders in
shaping, streamlining, and governing the demand-to-supply planning process.
This role is centered on business process ownership, requirements definition,
and driving planning maturity across the organization — translating business
needs into Oracle-enabled planning solutions rather than deep technical
configuration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and facilitate the
  end-to-end S&OP business process: demand review, supply review,
  pre-S&OP reconciliation, and executive S&OP meetings
  
• Partner with Sales,
  Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain leadership to gather business
  requirements and translate them into functional specifications for Oracle
  Demand Management and S&OP
  
• Drive consensus demand
  planning by facilitating alignment between statistical forecasts, sales
  inputs, and market intelligence
  
• Define and refine
  forecasting hierarchies, planning calendars, KPIs, and
  exception-management workflows aligned to business objectives
  
• Lead fit-gap analysis
  and functional design workshops, ensuring the solution reflects industry
  best practices and organizational planning maturity goals
  
• Act as the primary
  liaison between business users and technical/IT teams during
  implementation, enhancement, and support phases
  
• Develop and deliver
  training, SOPs, and change management materials to drive user adoption of
  planning processes and tools
  
• Analyse forecast
  accuracy, bias, and planning KPIs (MAPE, forecast attainment, inventory
  turns) and recommend process improvements
  
• Support business case
  development, ROI analysis, and planning process maturity assessments
  
• Provide thought
  leadership on demand sensing, integrated business planning (IBP), and
  S&OP process design during client engagements or internal
  transformation initiatives
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience
  in supply chain planning, with strong functional expertise in Sales &
  Operations Planning and Demand Management processes (Oracle Cloud/EBS
  environment)
  
• Deep understanding of
  demand planning methodologies — statistical forecasting, consensus
  planning, new product introduction (NPI) forecasting, and lifecycle
  planning
  
• Proven experience
  designing and facilitating S&OP governance processes, including
  executive-level reviews
  
• Strong business process
  orientation with the ability to bridge functional requirements and system
  capabilities
  
• Excellent stakeholder
  management, facilitation, and executive communication skills
  
• Experience conducting
  workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and process maturity
  assessments
  
• Working knowledge of
  Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM (Demand Management, S&OP) is expected, though
  the focus is on process ownership rather than technical configuration
  
• Bachelor’s degree in
  supply chain, Business, or related field; APICS/CPIM, CSCP, or SCOR
  certification preferred; MBA a plus

  such as manufacturing, CPG, retail, or life sciences
  
• Familiarity with
  Integrated Business Planning (IBP) frameworks and demand-sensing tools
  
• Exposure to change
  management and organizational readiness for planning transformations
