Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive microscopic and laboratory analysis of tissue biopsies, blood smears, and cytological specimens.
Interpret histopathological and cytopathological findings to support accurate disease diagnosis.
Conduct and evaluate immunohistochemical stains and molecular pathology tests for tumor characterization.
Perform and analyze blood smear examinations to detect hematological abnormalities.
Carry out microbiological testing and culture sensitivity analysis to identify infectious agents.
Interpret clinical biochemistry results in the context of patient pathology and disease progression.
Conduct tumor marker analysis to aid in cancer diagnosis, staging, and monitoring.
Perform autopsies and prepare detailed post -mortem reports in accordance with legal and medical standards.
Maintain and ensure compliance with laboratory quality control protocols and accreditation standards.
Collaborate with clinicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to provide diagnostic insights.
Participate in internal audits, continuous quality improvement initiatives, and staff training programs.
Stay updated with advancements in diagnostic techniques, emerging pathogens, and regulatory guidelines.
