### *Responsibilities*
- Conduct thorough physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic assessments for infants, children, and adolescents.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions, including respiratory infections, gastrointestinal disorders, developmental delays, and chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to specialists when necessary.
- Provide evidence -based preventive care, including routine well -child visits, developmental screenings, and age -appropriate vaccinations.
- Educate parents and caregivers on child health, nutrition, safety, behavioral development, and developmental milestones.
- Maintain accurate, up -to -date medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Participate in hospital quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and continuing medical education programs.
- Respond to on -call emergencies and provide timely care during urgent pediatric health events.

### *Requirements*
- MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics (MD/DM in Pediatrics or DCH).
- Valid and active registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council.
- 3–5 years of hands -on clinical experience in a hospital or pediatric outpatient setting.
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and managing common and complex pediatric illnesses.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust with children and their families.
- Proficiency in pediatric emergency care, growth monitoring, and developmental assessment.
- In -depth knowledge of immunization schedules, pediatric pharmacology, and evidence -based guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a high -pressure clinical environment.
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous learning.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and hospital information management tools.
