Responsibilities:

Assist in conducting routine pediatric health assessments and physical examinations.
Monitor and record vital signs, growth charts, and developmental milestones.
Support the administration of vaccinations and immunizations in accordance with national guidelines.
Educate parents and caregivers on nutrition, hygiene, immunization schedules, and common childhood illnesses.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Assist in managing minor illnesses, injuries, and acute conditions under supervision.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards in the pediatric unit.
Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and continuing education sessions.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) or equivalent qualification in allied health sciences.
Valid registration with the State Nursing Council or relevant regulatory body.
Basic knowledge of pediatric physiology, common childhood diseases, and preventive care.
Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with children and parents.
Attention to detail and adherence to clinical protocols and documentation standards.
Willingness to work in a team -oriented, fast -paced healthcare environment.
Ability to handle emotional situations with empathy and professionalism.
Familiarity with national immunization programs (e.g., UIP) is preferred.
