A CBSE PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) Entrepreneurship teacher is responsible for delivering high -quality education in entrepreneurship to senior secondary students (Classes XI and XII). The role involves creating an engaging and innovative learning environment to foster entrepreneurial thinking and prepare students for future challenges in the business world.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Curriculum Delivery:
   

   • Teach entrepreneurship concepts as per CBSE syllabus, including innovation, business planning, marketing strategies, financial management, and legal aspects of business.
     
   • Design lesson plans, assignments, and assessments to align with CBSE learning outcomes.
     

2. Student Engagement:
   

   • Use interactive and practical teaching methods to encourage entrepreneurial thinking, such as case studies, simulations, and project -based learning.
     
   • Foster critical thinking, problem -solving, and leadership skills in students.
     

3. Project Guidance:
   

   • Mentor students in business plan creation and execution for academic projects.
     
   • Provide guidance for participation in business competitions, fairs, and other entrepreneurial events.
     

4. Assessment and Feedback:
   

   • Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and practical projects.
     
   • Provide constructive feedback to improve learning outcomes.
     

5. Administrative Duties:
   

   • Maintain records of student attendance, academic progress, and extracurricular involvement.
     
   • Collaborate with school administration for parent -teacher meetings and other academic activities.
     

6. Professional Development:
   

   • Stay updated with the latest trends in entrepreneurship and education.
     
   • Participate in training sessions, workshops, and CBSE -specific professional development programs.
     

7. Promote Entrepreneurship Culture:
   

   • Organize seminars, guest lectures, and workshops on entrepreneurship.
     
   • Encourage students to explore startup opportunities and innovative ideas.
     

Requirements

Required Qualifications

1. Educational Qualification:
   

   • Master’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field with a minimum of 50% marks.
     
   • B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) from a recognized institution.
     

2. Certifications:
   

   • Qualified CTET or TET as required by CBSE norms.

1. Teaching and Communication:
   

   • Strong ability to simplify complex concepts and deliver them effectively.
     
   • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
     

2. Subject Expertise:
   

   • In -depth knowledge of entrepreneurship principles, business management, and financial planning.

   • Proficiency in using modern teaching methodologies, including technology -driven tools like Smart Boards and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

   • Ability to inspire creativity, innovation, and problem -solving in students.

   • Strong guidance skills for student projects, competitions, and business plan development.
     

6. Technological Proficiency:
   

   • Familiarity with MS Office, educational apps, and virtual teaching tools.

   • Organizational and time management abilities.
     

Preferred Experience

• 2–5 years of teaching experience in CBSE schools or similar institutions, especially at the senior secondary level.
  
• Experience in mentoring entrepreneurial initiatives or conducting business -related workshops.
