PPC Engineer (Production Planning & Control Engineer)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail -oriented and proactive PPC Engineer to manage and optimize production planning, scheduling, and control activities. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth workflow between production, procurement, and supply chain functions while improving efficiency, reducing costs, and maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for improving efficiency and productivity
  
• Develop and maintain production plans, schedules, and work orders based on customer demand and capacity
  
• Coordinate with production, engineering, procurement, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution of plans
  
• Ensure alignment of production activities with delivery timelines and customer requirements
  
• Maintain accurate production data, MIS reports, and performance dashboards
  
• Analyze production variances, bottlenecks, scrap, and downtime and recommend corrective actions
  
• Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet specifications and standards
  
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely availability of raw materials and components
  
• Support inventory control and material requirement planning (MRP) activities
  
• Provide technical and operational support to shop floor teams for resolving production issues
  
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, 5S, etc.)
  
• Support project management activities including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or related field
  
• Diploma candidates with strong PPC experience may also be considered
  
• 0–5 years of experience in Production Planning & Control / Manufacturing / Industrial Operations
  
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
