Principal Canshala

Role Overview

The Principal will be
responsible for supervising classroom activities, curriculum development,
and children learning outcomes. This role includes mentoring teachers,
tracking children learning progress, and organizing extracurricular activities to ensure a holistic learning experience and following up to facilitating reintegration of children into
formal schooling. The Head Teacher will
also coordinate with social workers, dietician, psychologists and other social
support team for student well -being, develop learning methodologies, and ensure
compliance with educational policies.

Key
Responsibilities

1. Teaching
& Supervision

• Supervise classroom activities and
  ensure quality education delivery.
  
• Ensuring children safety and well -being
  from arrival to breakfast and lunch to departure from CanShala.
  
• Implement PEPs and monitor individual
  student tracking, follow -ups and learning progress.
  
• Develop and refine processes for effective
  teaching methodologies to align with children needs.
  
• Ensure teachers implement innovative
  teaching methods for enhanced learning.
  

·        Ensuring
the education services like formal, non -formal, therapeutic and scholarships are provided to children in CanShala.

2. Student
& Teacher Support

• Coordinate with social workers and
  psychologists for student well -being.
  
• Conduct training sessions and mentoring
  programs for teachers.
  
• Conduct monthly progress meetings with
  teachers and support staff.
  

3.
Extracurricular & Community Engagement

• Organize celebrations, outings, and
  excursions for students.
  
• Plan extracurricular and therapeutic
  learning activities.
  
• Ensure compliance with attendance and
  performance tracking of staff and children.
