Role Overview
We are hiring a Principal Engineer to lead the technical design and development of highly scalable backend systems.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role involving architecture, system design, complex problem-solving and mentoring of senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and build large-scale distributed backend systems.
 Improve system performance, reliability, scalability and availability.
 Solve complex problems related to concurrency, consistency and asynchronous processing.
 Own key architecture and technical design decisions.
 Work hands-on with critical components and production systems.
 Set engineering standards and provide technical guidance across teams.
 Mentor senior engineers and support technical decision-making.
 Explore and implement AI-assisted development and AI/ML solutions where relevant.

Must-Have Technical Skills
- 12+ years of backend engineering experience.
 Strong hands-on experience with Golang (Go).
 Strong experience with Java, Python or C++ can also be considered.
 Deep understanding of Distributed Systems, Concurrency, Consistency Models and Asynchronous Architecture.
 Strong System Design and Architecture experience.
 Production experience with AWS, GCP or Azure.
 Strong experience with Relational and NoSQL databases.
 Strong troubleshooting experience across performance, reliability and scalability.
 Previous experience as a Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer or equivalent.
 Strong technical communication and mentoring skills.

 Go performance tuning and production debugging
 AI/ML/Agentic AI
