Job Description - Procurement


1. Performing all routine procurement activity
2. Building deep relationships with the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers),
distributors and maintaining updated information on key contacts
3. Build good ecosystem of sub-contract vendors and maintain updated information on
their performance against time, quality and price
4. Maintain indicative pricing for various types of transactions for the sales, technical
teams to respond quickly to customer requests
5. Effectively negotiate for best prices, terms and provide quick and accurate
information for customer quotes
6. Effectively negotiate for additional margins, credit terms post securing customer
purchase orders
7. Manage all documentation requirements for OEM, vendor empanelment. Work
seamlessly with the accounting team for pricing approvals and vendor payments
8. Work seamlessly with the logistics team for proper assessment of inventory status and
delivery
9. Maintain high quality data and updated systems and proactively provide accurate,
timely reports for informed management decision making

Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong procurement and negotiation skills
  • Strong understanding of OEMs and their ordering tools
  • Process orientation and diligent execution
  • Experience in logistics and execution
Desirable Knowledge and Skills:
  • Engineering background
  • Knowledge of AV / Networking Components
Work Environment:
SECCOM offers a transparent, open work culture based on trust and respect. Employees are
expected to be self-driven, motivated, take personal responsibility and be sincere in discharge
of their responsibilities. Lot of emphasis is also placed on friendly team work and learning
from one another to maintain high levels of technical expertise.

Work Hours:
9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday except the second and fourth Saturday of every
month.
