Procurement Analyst

The
Procurement Analyst – MEP Services Projects is responsible for managing
procurement activities related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP)
systems in construction projects. The role involves vendor evaluation, cost
analysis, contract management, material sourcing, and ensuring timely delivery
of MEP materials and subcontract services while maintaining quality and budget
compliance.

•       Analyze
project requirements and prepare procurement plans for MEP materials and
services.

•       Source
and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire
protection, and ELV systems.

•       Obtain
and analyze quotations, ensuring technical compliance with project
specifications.

•       Negotiate
pricing, delivery terms, payment terms, and contractual conditions.

•       Issue
purchase orders and subcontracts in line with company policies.

•       Perform
cost comparison and value engineering analysis for MEP components.

•       Track
procurement budgets and forecast cost variances.

•       Support
project teams with cost benchmarking and market price trends.

•       Prepare
procurement reports and dashboards for management review.

•       Maintain
and update approved vendor lists.

•       Conduct
vendor performance evaluations.

•       Ensure
compliance with contractual terms and conditions.

•       Manage
claims, variations, and change orders related to MEP procurement.

•       Coordinate with project
managers, engineers, and site teams to align procurement schedules with
construction timelines.

Requirements

material delivery schedules to prevent project delays.

materials comply with approved technical submittals and standards.

•       Ensure
procurement processes comply with company policies and industry standards.

•       Identify
supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.

•       Maintain
proper documentation for audits and quality assurance.

•       Strong
analytical and financial acumen

•       Negotiation
and vendor management skills

•       Knowledge
of construction contracts (FIDIC is a plus)

•       Excellent
communication and stakeholder coordination
