Product Manager at BikeDekho

The Product Manger position is for the Bikes Business (BikeDekho) at CarDekho. BikeDekho is one of the fastest growing Bikes research destination in India with over 1 Million users accessing it every month. With BikeDekho, our vision is to enable the 16 Million+ two-wheeler buyers (every year) in India, to make well informed and hassle-free bike purchases.

BikeDekho is a budding startup within the CarDekho ecosystem. As a product, we are mobile-focused and are looking at some major product implementations, with a vision to change the way people buy bikes in India. This opportunity is for people who have a certain obsession with developing world class products and are looking to work in a hyper-growth ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to end Execution, from product planning and conceptualization to technical execution of the product


• Coordinating with design, engineering, sales, and marketing, as well as various other teams across the company to ensure high-quality product execution


• Drive the product development life cycle in close partnership with the design and engineering teams


• Work hands on with the technology team, to tackle some of the day-to-day problems


• Define key success metrics, and analyse and iterate to create successful products


• Initiate and manage partnerships and licensing opportunities with third parties

Requirements:

• Ability to lead, influence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.


• Previous experience in successfully defining and launching intuitive consumer-facing products/features


• Profound knowledge on various technologies and standards (PHP, MySQL, Javascript, AJAX, JQuery, XML, and Linux)


• Strong knowledge of PHP & object-oriented programming (OOP)


• Experience with relational databases and relational design


• Prior experience in ecommerce product development would a be huge plus


• Excellent communication and analytical skills


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or related technical field.
