Job Title: Production Engineer

Job Overview:

A Production Engineer is responsible for overseeing manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing operations. The role involves coordinating with different departments to achieve production targets while minimizing costs and ensuring safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, monitor, and control daily production activities to meet targets
  
• Optimize manufacturing processes for improved efficiency and reduced wastage
  
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and production specifications
  
• Identify and implement process improvements and cost -saving initiatives
  
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime
  
• Prepare production reports and analyze performance metrics
  
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  
• Supervise and guide shop floor workers and technicians
  
• Manage inventory, raw materials, and production schedules
  
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
  

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or related field
  
• 1 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  
• Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also be considered
  

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of production processes and manufacturing techniques
  
• Knowledge of quality standards (ISO, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing)
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  
• Problem -solving and analytical thinking skills
  
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
  
• Proficiency in MS Office and production planning tools
  
• Time management and multitasking skills
