Key Responsibilities

Teaching: Teaching activities include 

• Classroom and tutorials/laboratory sessions (innovative teaching methods), 

• Directing projects, guiding students for research and internships. 

• Ability to use software & tools for effective teaching.

Mentoring: 

• Advice students on their professional developments relating to the academic programs (national/international studies), research projects and career guidelines.

Department activities:

• Curriculum Development - Participate in the development/design and revision of the curriculum offered.

• Laboratory Development – Continuous development laboratory infrastructure

• Organizing Events – Workshops/conferences/short-term programs.

• Research: Preparation of good research proposals, getting sponsorship for Research Projects through various funding agencies & execution in an efficient manner.

Administrative work: 

• ACBSP/ NIRF/NBA/ISO, Department/ College governance activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

• UG Any relevant degree, MBA (Relevant Field) ,Ph.D. in Management (Relevant Field) or a related field from a recognized institution.

• Assistant Professor-0 to 5 years’ experience in teaching. Associate Professor-8 -12 years of experience, Anna University Guide ship with 5 Scopus Indexed publications.

Professor- 10-15 years plus years of experience, Anna University Guide ship with 10 Scopus Indexed publications, exceptionally good in establishing centres of excellence and contributing to Institution building.

• Good in fundamentals, and, passion for teaching and research work, besides being a good team player

• Must have clarity of expression; written and oral communication skills.

• Must have a good track record in academics and have passion for teaching.
