Opportunity – the ‘what’

In this role, you will work across a variety of print and digital projects, handling editorial, production, and administrative tasks that ensure high-quality outcomes. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:

• Editing and levelling manuscripts, illustrations, briefs, proofs, and product releases.


• Collating and managing content inputs from authors, partners, and advisors to maintain accuracy, audience suitability, accessibility, and adherence to project briefs.


• Supporting efficient project setup, including schedules, requisitions, asset trackers, ePUB reviews, digital testing, and reprint logging.


• Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and recommending solutions to keep projects on time and aligned with best practice.


• Managing reprints by marking and logging corrections and liaising across editorial, manufacturing, design, digital, and authors.


• Supporting and helping coordinate freelance editors, ensuring outputs are timely and aligned to standards.


• Monitoring spend against budgets and escalating issues where needed.


• Contributing to effective communication and teamwork across departments.


• Supporting digital and metadata workflows, including XML/HTML conversion and CIP migration.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience teaching in relevant school types


• Experience in primary or secondary educational publishing


• Familiarity with XML workflows


• Exposure to international curricula


• Understanding of accessibility requirements


• Strong Maths ability
