Project Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Do internal kick off with all stakeholders.


• Ensure adherence to project scope, timelines, and budget constraints


• Prepare project plan, budget and project organization chart

• Do project kick off meeting with customer and share project timeline & project organization structure

• Plan, schedule, and monitor project activities and deliverables


• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (design, procurement, execution, QA/QC)


• Liaise with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders


• Track project progress and resolve technical or operational issues


• Support procurement by preparing PR, technical evaluations, and vendor approvals


• Weekly Manage documentation, project reports, budget and change control processes(ECN)


• Schedule and attend customer buyoff after successful internal trials


• Monitor snag point closure and dispatch activities

Job Requirements

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)

Experience

• 4–8 years of experience in project engineering / execution roles


• Experience in handling end-to-end project lifecycle preferred

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in MS Project (or similar scheduling tools)


• Familiarity with AutoCAD or relevant design software


• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Strong coordination and stakeholder management abilities


• Time management and multitasking capability

Optional (Good to Have)

• CAPM, PMP / Prince2 certification or equivalent


• Experience in ERP tools (SAP, Oracle, etc.)


• Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
