STAGE is a hyper-local OTT platform that produces content in dialects like Haryanvi, Rajasthani, etc. STAGE features content formats like long-duration web series, movies, short films, standup comedians, poetry, folk & much more.

Started in 2019, STAGE currently focuses on Haryanavi & Rajasthani only as a dialect. It has become the largest OTT in the region by generating 2m+ downloads already.

The candidate is responsible for creating compelling promos to pull the audience to watch the full content. The right person would stay abreast of national and international OTT formats and the latest content. You are someone who would keep the brand continually relevant and ahead of the competition. Strong cross-functional departmental collaboration skills are a must to understand briefs for edits. You are someone who would take complete end-to-end ownership of the editing work and drive each of the designated shows and events. You have the ability to innovatively create multiple points of view around high points in the content and develop them into promos that will hook the audience to the shows.



Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the entire creative process of making promos, including conception, assignment, writing, producing, and final delivery of any show

• Work closely with the content, creative marketing & branding team to ensure quality delivery of the content

• Design motion graphics, such as animated text, animated visuals, UX/UI animation, and more.

• Understanding the art of storytelling is vital for creating compelling promos. 

• Collaborate closely with the Post-Production team to identify and gather footage from shooting sets 

• Create narratives that engages viewers, builds anticipation, and effectively communicates the value and highlights of the content.

• Should understand composition, color theory, and graphic design principles to ensure that the promos align with the brand identity and style of the OTT platform.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in motion graphics and animation software, such as Adobe After Effects or Blender, can be valuable

• Minimum 3 years of experience

• Basic knowledge of sound editing and design is essential. You should be able to adjust audio levels, add sound effects, and ensure high-quality audio throughout the promo. Understanding how to create an immersive and engaging audio experience is key.

• Knowledge of editing techniques, transitions, colour correction, and audio syncing.

• Strong Photoshop, After Effects, Sound design and music sweetening experience a plus

• Ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions 

• Ability to organize and schedule work effectively and balance multiple priorities, project timelines, and deadlines 

• Strong organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple projects, keep track of various assets, and meet deadlines
