Are you an Tamil storyteller who can hook an audience in under 30 seconds ?
At Kuku TV, we’re building the future of short-format OTT entertainment and microdramas, and we’re looking for a Promo Writer (Tamil) who knows how to turn emotions into scroll-stopping, binge-worthy scripts.If you understand viral storytelling, audience psychology, and high-retention content, this role is your stage.

Key Responsibilities :

• Write high-impact Tamil promo scripts for microdramas, OTT shows, and digital campaigns.


• Craft emotion-driven hooks that grab attention instantly and boost viewer retention.


• Analyze top-performing OTT promos & viral content trends to replicate success patterns.


• Collaborate with creative teams, editors, and marketing to deliver compelling narratives.


• Adapt tone, pacing, and storytelling formats for short-form video platforms


• Stay ahead of digital trends, viral hooks, and audience engagement strategies in India.

What We’re Looking For :

• 2 - 5 years of experience in Tamil content writing / scriptwriting / promo writing.


• Background in OTT platforms, web series, films, or microdrama storytelling.


• Strong understanding of story arcs, emotional triggers, and dramatic tension.


• Exceptional command of written Tamil. (creative, punchy, impactful)


• Ability to create short-form, high-retention, binge-worthy content.


• Self-driven, fast thinker who thrives in a high-speed content environment.
