We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PRT (Primary Resource Teacher) Social Science Teacher to join our dynamic education team. This role is critical in shaping young minds during their foundational years by fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of social sciences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, age -appropriate lessons in History, Geography, Civics, and Environmental Studies, while promoting values such as empathy, responsibility, and cultural awareness. The teacher will play a vital role in curriculum implementation, student assessment, and classroom management, ensuring a supportive and stimulating learning environment. With a strong foundation in pedagogy and a commitment to holistic development, this position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the academic and personal growth of primary -level students.

- Plan, develop, and deliver interactive and curriculum -aligned lessons in Social Science for primary grade students. 

- Utilize diverse teaching methodologies, including project -based learning, storytelling, and visual aids, to enhance student engagement. 

- Assess student progress through regular quizzes, assignments, class participation, and formative assessments. 

- Maintain accurate and up -to -date student records and report card data. 

- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to support interdisciplinary learning and school -wide initiatives. 

- Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment that encourages active participation and mutual respect. 

- Participate in teacher training sessions, parent -teacher meetings, and school events as required. 

- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students, including those with special educational requirements.

- Graduate degree in Social Science or related discipline, along with a B.Ed or D.Ed qualification. 

- Proven experience in teaching Social Science at the primary level (1–5 years preferred). 

- Strong knowledge of the primary -level curriculum (NCERT or state board syllabi). 

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. 

- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and use innovative teaching tools and technology. 

- Passion for teaching and commitment to student -centered learning and holistic development. 

- Familiarity with assessment techniques and record -keeping practices. 

- Willingness to participate in school activities, professional development, and collaborative planning.
