*Summary:*

*Responsibilities:* 

- Deliver structured, age -appropriate Social Science lessons aligned with the national and state curriculum. 

- Develop and implement creative lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessment tools to enhance student engagement and understanding. 

- Monitor student progress through regular assessments, feedback, and individualized support. 

- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and classroom activities. 

- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff on interdisciplinary projects, parent -teacher meetings, and school events. 

- Promote values -based learning, civic awareness, and social responsibility through classroom instruction and extracurricular activities. 

- Participate in professional development workshops and school -based training programs. 

- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs.

*Requirements:* 

- Graduate degree in Social Science or a related field, along with a recognized B.Ed or D.Ed qualification. 

- 1–3 years of proven experience in teaching Social Science at the primary level (PRT). 

- Strong command of the subject matter and ability to simplify complex concepts for young learners. 

- Proficiency in using digital tools and multimedia resources for interactive teaching. 

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. 

- Passion for student development and a commitment to inclusive, student -centered education. 

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to evolving educational standards. 

- Valid teaching certification as per state/central education board requirements.
