Role Description:

Person is responsible for supporting purchasing activities for OSAT, such as raw material, capex items, consumables, jigs and fixtures. Supporting commercial negotiations and providing analytical support to purchasing/commodity managers.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage cost and end to end RFQ’s for OSAT business.
  • Understand the technical data and specifications to run RFQ’s, communicate equipment needs to suppliers.
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery & technical parameters.
  • Negotiating with suppliers for best Terms and Conditions related to price, qty, schedule and quality.
  • Evaluate suppliers and procurement strategies for efficiency and value.
  • Reviewing legal and contractual responsibilities for both the supplier and the company
  • Facilitating communication b/w company stakeholders, manager and CFT members for procurement
  • Monitor supplier deliveries and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Drive Supplier qualification and collaborate with stakeholders for timely completion.


Requirements

Skill/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in SCM, business, engineering or related field, MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 yrs of domain expertise in strategic sourcing of electronics components or equivalent commodities
  • Expertise in managing electronics components (Active/Passive) or OSAT suppliers.
  • Hands on experience in managing multiple RFQ’s, negotiation skills to finalize commercial terms & conditions.
  • Experience in Supplier selection and business awards
  • Good understanding of the market conditions and component trends
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to make decisions with minimal guidance.
  • Willing to work in ambiguous environment to enable customer success.
