QA Associate

Experience : 6months–2 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and functional specifications.
  
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
  
• Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or similar tools.
  
• Conduct API testing using Postman or similar tools.
  
• Validate applications across multiple browsers, devices, and platforms.
  
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.
  
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  
• Prepare test reports and maintain QA documentation.
  
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or similar automation frameworks.
  
• Identify test cases suitable for automation and improve test coverage.
  
• Support CI/CD testing and release validation activities.
  
• Perform basic security testing and validate common web application security controls.
  
• Test AI/LLM -powered applications, APIs, RAG systems, and Agentic AI workflows.
  
• Validate AI -generated responses for accuracy, hallucinations, prompt adherence, and safety requirements.
  
• Identify and report AI -related vulnerabilities such as prompt injection, data leakage, and unauthorized access issues
  

Requirements

Required Skills

• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  
• Strong knowledge of Manual Testing methodologies.
  
• Experience with Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and UAT testing.
  
• Understanding of defect life cycle and bug tracking tools.
  
• Familiarity with API testing and REST APIs.
  
• Knowledge of Automation Testing concepts and Selenium or similar frameworks.
  
• Basic programming knowledge in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  
• Understanding of web application security fundamentals.
  
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
  
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem -solving skills.
  
• Good communication and documentation skills
  

Preferred Skills

• Hands -on experience with Postman and API automation.
  

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  

• Hands -on experience with Postman.
  

• Basic understanding of JMeter, K6, or performance testing concepts.
  

• Awareness of OWASP Top 10 and web application security testing.
  

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  

• Understanding of AI/LLM testing concepts including:

  • Data Leakage Testing
    
  • AI Safety & Guardrails Validation
    
  • RAG Evaluation
