Job Description - QA Engineer

Owns the test
strategy for the migration: functional parity between legacy and migrated
components, regression coverage across web, mobile and APIs, and automation
wired into the delivery pipelines

Key Responsibilities

‒Define and execute parity and regression test strategy for each
migrated module.

‒Test web, mobile, APIs and Azure Functions, both manually and
through automation.

‒Write and execute test cases, test plans and test scripts; track
defects in Azure DevOps Boards or Jira.

‒Validate data transformations, stored procedure outputs and data
integrity during database migration.

‒Integrate automated test suites into Azure DevOps pipelines as
release gates.

‒

Required Skills and
Experience

‒Strong experience in manual and automated testing of backend
services and APIs.

‒API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured; validation of
payloads, status codes, headers and error handling, including JSON schema
validation.

‒Experience testing API integrations between internal systems and
external vendors.

‒SQL skills for test data setup and validation; experience testing
Azure SQL Database or SQL Server.

‒Test automation frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, Playwright.

‒CI/CD understanding integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps
pipelines.

‒Azure Functions testing, including the local emulator and
integration testing.
