QA Lead/ Manager

Role Summary We are seeking an experienced QA & Proofing Lead/Manager to lead the quality assurance and proofing function for creative and digital assets. This role will ensure all deliverables meet brand, regulatory, accessibility, and functional quality standards before release. The ideal candidate will establish QA best practices, lead a team of QA specialists, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive continuous quality improvements across digital asset production. ⸻ Key Responsibilities (Must Have / The Person Will Be Responsible For) Lead the end-to-end Quality Assurance and Proofing process for creative and digital assets across multiple channels. Review and validate digital assets for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines. Perform functional QA across websites, emails, banners, landing pages, presentations, social media assets, and other digital materials. Verify content against approved source documents to ensure text, imagery, claims, references, and annotations are accurate. Conduct cross-browser, cross-device, and responsive testing to ensure optimal user experience. Validate hyperlinks, CTAs, forms, tracking codes, metadata, and digital functionality. Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, accessibility (WCAG), and client-specific quality standards. Develop and maintain QA checklists, proofing guidelines, SOPs, and quality documentation. Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and implement preventive and corrective actions. Manage defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution using defect management tools. Mentor and coach QA team members while driving quality culture and continuous process improvement. Monitor QA KPIs including first-pass quality, defect leakage, turnaround time, and quality trends. Support audit readiness and ensure adherence to internal quality management systems. Recommend automation opportunities and AI-enabled QA solutions where applicable. ⸻ About You Required Experience 8–12+ years of experience in QA, Proofreading. Experience leading QA teams.
