Quantity Surveyor

You'll know where the money is going on our projects at every stage. You'll prepare estimates and bills of quantities, help with tenders, track costs during the build and flag variances early, before they turn into problems. You'll work closely with the design and project teams on projects in both India and the UK.

Interiors With Art has been designing and building luxury homes, palaces and hotels for 24 years, for private clients around the world. We've recently opened offices in Delhi and Chennai and set up a joint venture with Sotheby's International Realty India, and the team here is growing quickly. Behind the scenes we're changing how the business runs too. We build a lot of our own technology and we want people who'll help us keep improving how we work.

We're happy to try new software, and if it makes the work better or quicker, we keep it. There's not much hierarchy and very little corporate process, so ideas get heard whoever they come from. You'll work with the team both in India and abroad.  

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and bills of quantities for construction and fit-out packages. 

• Carry out accurate take-offs from drawings and models. 

• Support tendering, contractor selection and contract administration. 

• Monitor costs throughout the build, flag variances and manage change control. 

• Value work in progress, assess contractor payment applications and help agree final accounts. 

• Keep commercial control at every stage of delivery, working closely with project management and design. 

• Prepare clear cost reports for the directors and, where needed, for clients. 

• Support both Indian and international (UK) projects, working with each market's methods and standards. 

• Use AI and automation to streamline estimating, reporting and cost tracking. 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING 

• At least 3 to 5 years as a QS on construction or fit-out projects, ideally high-end residential, hospitality or luxury commercial. 

• Strong Excel skills (essential). 

• Hands-on experience with take-off and estimating software such as CostX, Bluebeam or similar. 

• Experience with Procore is a real plus. 

• Good knowledge of contracts and measurement methods. Familiarity with UK practice is a bonus. 

• Very detail oriented, and calm when the numbers get complicated. 

• Interested in how AI can speed up QS work.
