Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret diagnostic ultrasound (USG) examinations across various body systems, including abdominal, pelvic, vascular, and obstetric/gynecologic imaging.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of imaging findings with clear, concise, and clinically relevant interpretations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to support diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient management.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, radiation protection standards, and quality assurance procedures.
- Participate in continuous professional development and stay updated with advancements in imaging technology and clinical guidelines.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of imaging protocols to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes.
- Support training and mentorship of junior radiology staff and sonographers when required.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and documentation requirements in line with hospital and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree with postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD/DNB in Radiology).
- Minimum of 2 years of postgraduate clinical experience in diagnostic radiology, with a strong focus on ultrasound (USG) imaging.
- Proficiency in performing and interpreting a wide range of ultrasound scans, including abdominal, pelvic, vascular, and obstetric applications.
- Strong understanding of imaging physics, anatomy, and pathology relevant to ultrasound diagnostics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, medical staff, and hospitality service teams.
- Ability to work in a fast -paced, high -standard environment with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Valid medical registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent) and any required state -level licenses.
- Familiarity with digital imaging systems (PACS, RIS) and electronic health record (EHR) platforms.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality, ethical practice, and continuous quality improvement.
