Regional Manager Retail Sales NESA

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Job Purpose:To drive profitable business growth, market expansion, and channel effectiveness across multiple states within the North East Region by strengthening dealer networks, developing team capabilities, managing strategic OEM partnerships, and ensuring operational excellence, governance, and brand leadership.

1. Revenue Growth & Market Expansion

• Deliver targeted revenue growth and profitability for the region.


• Drive market share expansion across focus markets and product categories.


• Identify new business opportunities, growth pockets, key accounts, and territory development opportunities.


• Strengthen enquiry management and improve conversion rates through disciplined sales execution.


• Develop and execute regional business plans aligned with organizational objectives.


• Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities.

2. Channel Management & Dealer Development

• Strengthen dealer capability, engagement, productivity, and accountability.


• Ensure commercial discipline across the channel, including pricing, credit management, and collections.


• Ensure adequate inventory availability through close coordination with supply chain teams.


• Support dealer manpower planning and capability enhancement initiatives.


• Drive channel productivity and market coverage improvement programs.


• Build strong relationships with dealer principals and key channel partners.


• Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Service, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure seamless business execution.

3. OEM Business Management

• Develop, manage, and strengthen relationships with strategic OEM customers.


• Drive business growth through effective account management and customer engagement.


• Build and maintain a healthy order pipeline and ensure timely execution.


• Establish strong relationships with OEM decision-makers and key stakeholders.


• Identify opportunities for strategic account development and long-term business growth.


• Ensure consistent business inflow and customer retention.

4. Digital Enquiry & Platform Management

• Drive effectiveness and adoption of digital lead management platforms.


• Ensure robust enquiry database management and tracking mechanisms.


• Monitor and improve lead conversion performance across the region.


• Drive dealer participation and engagement on digital platforms.


• Ensure effective communication and implementation of sales schemes, programs, and promotional initiatives.


• Leverage sales analytics and customer insights to improve business outcomes.

5. Territory Governance & Compliance

• Ensure effective territory management and discipline across the region.


• Minimize channel conflicts through proactive stakeholder management.


• Drive timely resolution of dealer and territory-related issues.


• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, processes, and governance standards.


• Maintain compliance with commercial, operational, and sales processes.

6. Brand Building & Market Development

• Enhance brand visibility, awareness, and market presence across the region.


• Drive regional marketing initiatives, customer engagement programs, and market activation activities.


• Support dealer-led promotional activities to strengthen brand reach.


• Strengthen customer connect and improve overall brand perception.


• Ensure consistent representation of the organization's values and brand identity.

Experience

Experience

• 15+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Channel Management, or OEM Business.


• Proven experience in managing large dealer networks and regional business operations.


• Experience in handling multi-state business responsibilities.


• Demonstrated success in driving business growth, channel development, and team leadership.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.


• MBA or equivalent management qualification preferred.
