This is for Agriculture e-commerce company working with farmers, dealers and companies is hiring State Sales Head for Maharashtra.

Responsibilities and Duties

The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the Agri input Category business (Seeds & Agro Chemicals)

• Lead the field sales team to help them achieve their sales targets and goals.
  


• Responsible for the e-commerce sales
  


• Create a robust sales process in lines with the organizational goals (Short, Mid & Long Term).
  


• Track & Monitor daily targets and reporting of sales team.
  


• Train dealers / customers on use of systems, processes, and products
  


• Supportive role in sourcing of products / deals
  


• Hiring and training sales team
  


• Build product wise strategies for achieving targets pertaining to sales
  


• Forecasting & Planning: Study and analyse customer requirement & trend (Historic, Current & Futuristic), stock inventory at optimum level, and forecast purchase planning.
  


• Monitor Seller performance and trend.
  

Must Have:  

• Sales Experience of 7-10 Years in Agri Input Industry (both in Seeds and Pesticides)
  


• Working knowledge of preparing a business plan (short, mid and long term)
  


• Ability to communicate with and influence key people across the hierarchy of an Agri company
  


• Excel competence: Advanced level
